Course details
The Spatial Econometrics Advanced Institute (SEAI) is the advanced school of the Spatial Econometrics Association. It is held yearly and will consists on 2 sessions (Winter and Summer) of 2-weeks course each. It is a unique opportunity to be introduced to the methods and practice of Spatial Econometrics by the leading experts in the field.


ACTIVITIES (summer edition)
The program of activities will include 2 weeks, 5 days a week (Mon-Fri), 3 hours a day devoted to lectures (Mon-Wed) or to coding laboratory (Thu-Fri). Students may decide which laboratory to attend choosing between the following languages: R, STATA and Python. Lectures will address major spatial libraries in all languages, spatial modelling, spatial plotting and more…
FEES
Last year the SEAI summer course was entirely free for the SEA members. This year, unfortunately, we will have to ask the participants to contribute with a fee.
The cost will depend on wether you are a SEA member or not:
- SEA members: 250 €
- non-SEA members: 500 €
